Client brief

For this high-end project, the client envisioned a master ensuite that served as a seamless extension of their sleeping quarters. By removing the traditional door boundary, the objective was to create a "double-aspect" space that maximised the morning's natural light. The brief emphasised the need for a "safe haven" aesthetic where mood-setting technology and clever storage could coexist to facilitate a clutter-free, relaxing daily ritual.

The process

The success of this project hinged on "zonal harmony" and lighting architecture. Because the bathroom remains visible from the bedroom at all times, our designer focused on high-concealment storage to maintain a "tidied away" look. We utilised a strategic lighting plan, integrating colour therapy and hidden uplights to ensure the mood could transition from a bright, invigorating morning space to a soft, steamy evening retreat. The open-plan nature required a meticulous balance of materials to ensure the ensuite felt like a luxurious furniture-led extension of the bedroom decor.

What we did

Open-Concept Integration: Eliminated the dividing door between the bedroom and ensuite, creating a double-aspect layout that floods the entire suite with natural light.

Intelligent Mood Lighting: Installed sophisticated colour therapy lights combined with recessed uplights behind the bath, allowing the client to curate the perfect atmosphere for relaxation.

Premium Concealed Storage: Integrated the Schneider Graceline mirror cabinet, a high-end solution that keeps the space clutter-free while adding an architectural light source.

Steam Sanctuary: Engineered the shower space to include a relaxing steam feature, transforming the daily routine into a professional-grade wellness experience.

Luminous Spatial Design: Leveraged the increased light flow to highlight the textures and finishes of the fixtures, ensuring the bathroom feels spacious and inviting from every angle.

Bespoke Wellness Curation: Delivered a "favourite room" experience by focusing on the sensory elements of design, light, steam, and seamless organisation.
