The objective was to deliver five brand-new bathrooms for a substantial new build property, ranging in scale from a guest cloakroom to the primary family suite. The client sought a design that infused each room with its own unique "personality" without sacrificing daily functionality. A significant technical requirement was the ability to adapt designs in real-time, adhering to fluctuating measurements and structural adjustments as the house moved through the active construction phase.

To manage the "moving target" of a new build, our designer maintained an agile planning process, quickly complying with last-minute architectural changes to ensure a seamless fit for all fixtures. We focused on "thematic continuity", establishing a contemporary style for the property while tailoring the utility of each room to its specific user. For the family bathroom, the process centred on balancing high-end aesthetics with multi-generational practicality, ensuring the materials chosen would be both durable and beautiful.
